Mr. Ken Amaro was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands. His father and grandparents were born on the island of Puerto Rico, more specifically Culebra.

Mr. Amaro attended Jones College in Jacksonville, Florida, where he earned a BBA in 1980. He worked as an Anchor/Reporter at First Coast News from 1979 until his retirement in 2021.

Well known for his “On Your Side” consumer reports, Ken worked tirelessly for the consumer by uncovering scams, rip-offs, and swindles.

I am passionate about God, family, and making a positive impact in our Jacksonville communities. I host a podcast called The Pink Round Table.

I also partake in Optivo Care, a non-profit dedicated to giving to women and their children in need. Glorimar holds a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's degree in health administration and management. She's proud of her loving husband, two amazing sons, and her beautiful grandson.

We knew we had something with the type of content we were delivering.

In less than a year we got to 1 million Followers.

Tell us about what you do for a living and how you got into it

Ivette Galarza: Ivette was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to Puerto Rican parents. Her mom and dad were both from Moca, PR. At a young age Ivette watched her mother with a 7th grade educational level advocate on behalf of a community of tenants that were at the verge of being evicted. Ivette firmly believes that watching her mother walk through this multi-year journey is what birthed the passion within her to dedicate 27 years of her life to working on behalf of vulnerable children, families and communities.

The Hidden Treasure of St. Augustine, the oldest City in the United States is also one of the Florida’s best vacation spots!

Time of Year: Night of Lights
Dates: Nov. 28 – Dec. 1, 2022

God is so good. Latin Times Media and Magazine was chosen as a media to travel to st Augustine…..and share with u the beauty of the city and great spots here! We stayed at the Voco IHG Hotel, which was about 10 minutes away from where all action was taking place!

Our First night in St. Augustine: The first evening we started started out with a Trolly Tour of the City, and had the pleasure of learning more about the history of St. Augustine.

That first evening we also enjoyed dinner at the World Famous Columbia Restaurant in downtown St. Augustine, Florida LOVED IT – of course the Columbia Restaurant never disappoints, and we were able to share a little bit about the rich History of the Columbia as well as the Gonzmart family.

We closed off that first night with a Walk around of Nights of Lights on St. George St- there is only one way to describe it -breathtaking!
