LIZA KING: 2022 Top Lideres Award; SWFL

Chief Deputy Court Administrator 

I currently serve as the Chief Deputy Court Administrator for the 20th Judicial Circuit. I started my career in the justice system 29 years ago at the tender age of 18!

I’ve always had a passion for criminal justice and making a difference in our community.

Liza King: I think what makes me most unique is that I have so much experience at such a young age (relatively). Over the last 19 years, I have consistently been the first Hispanic female that has held various leadership positions.

Liza King: I believe that I was nominated due to being a leader within the community. I am involved in a great deal of community outreach & advocacy. Specifically, I believe that it’s important to promote our Hispanic leaders in the community.  

Liza King: During Covid-19, I believe the biggest challenge was the tension throughout the community and being disconnected. However, it did force us to be innovative and find alternate ways to accomplish work and community goals.  

Liza King: My biggest achievement was running for public office. I am currently a candidate running for Lee County Clerk of the Circuit Court. This process was such a process of growth for me personally.  

Liza King: As far as next for me, I will continue serving the community to the best of my ability. All things are possible and I know that the best is yet to come!  

Liza King: I am so proud of being a U.S. citizen, it means that I can do all things! The possibilities are endless. I am also equally as proud of my Cuban roots.  

Liza King: I believe that we are facing very challenging times in our nation. It’s time for all of us to stand up and have a voice in our communities & put God in the center.  

Liza King: The words of encouragement that I would love to share are that ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IF YOU BELIEVE! YOU ARE ABLE!
