Latin Times Magazine: Tell us about what you do for a living and how you got into it Maura Cruz Lanz: I was an owner of a commercial construction corporation. My husband and sensed a call from God to start our own business in 1985.
Latin Times Magazine: In your industry, what would you say separates you from your competition
Maura Cruz Lanz: I believe we were successful because we put biblical principles to work in our business and put our workers first.
Latin Times Magazine: During Covid-19, tell us about your Biggest Challenge/obstacle and how you overcame it/or are overcoming it
Maura Cruz Lanz: With Covid 19 we put our total trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. We didn’t give in to the fear.
Latin Times Magazine: Tell us about your biggest achievement, and how you achieved it (Covid or non-related)
Maura Cruz Lanz: Our Corporation received awards from Hillsborough County and the City of St. Petersburg. But our biggest reward came from God.
Latin Times Magazine: What is next for you? What can people expect to see from you? Maura Cruz Lanz: I’m currently running for Hillsborough County Commission District 3.

Latin Times Magazine: Is there anything I didn’t ask that you would like to share? Maura Cruz Lanz: Family is extremely important to me, and that’s why I’m running for public office.
